Bateh said that the family called the infants 'Chunky Monkey' Reese and 'Little Bit' Rose, though their names were actually Hayden and Kayden. 

She told First Coast News that five bullets hit her daughter, but credited God with helping her survive.

'He gave Megan the strength to drag her body across the room. She had to crawl through her babies' blood, then through the shooter's blood, and to her dad to hear his last words,' the grandmother said.

Travis Hiatt reportedly told his daughter to pass on to her twin brother that he loved him.

Megan Hiatt and Wilson's relationship was reportedly troubled, and police said the killings most likely stemmed from a domestic issue, according to News 4 Jax.

Bateh said Wilson would break items around the house when he turned angry but had not hit her daughter.

He pleaded guilty to strangulation in 2013 and went to a domestic violence program.

A GoFundMe account raising money for Hiatt said that the mother was in stable critical condition on Tuesday after fighting for her life in the aftermath of the Friday attack.

She needed three surgeries on Friday and Saturday. 

The page had raised more than $14,000 towards funeral expenses and medical costs as of Tuesday night.

ISIS Hides Bombs Inside Dolls And Toys To KILL CHILDREN!!!!

Security forces in Baghdad defused and destroyed 18 IEDs which had been hidden inside the hollow bodies of children's toys, before being dressed in doll clothes. It was part of an ISIS bomb plot against Shia pilgrims.
The plan was to scatter the doll-bombs on the road between the Iraqi capital and Karbala, where millions of Shia Muslims are set to walk during the annual pilgrimage for Arbaeen in the month of December.

The booby-trapped bombs were discovered by the security forces in a predominantly Shiite suburb in northeastern Baghdad, al-Husseiniya -Kuwait News agency (KUNA) reported. Last year, the number of pilgrims in the city of Karbala commemorating Arbaeen reached a record 17.5 million.

On Friday, at least 15 people died in several bomb attacks in Baghdad. One of the attacks was at a mosque in the Iraqi capital's Nahiyet al-Rasheed neighborhood.A roadside bomb blast went off on the street outside the mosque just as worshippers were finishing Friday prayers, police said. Within minutes, a suicide bomber inside the mosque detonated an explosives vest. According to police, ten people were killed and 28 were wounded in that coordinated attack. Security officers said that two separate roadside bombs also exploded in commercial areas of southeast Baghdad, killing five people and wounding nine, 
No one immediately claimed responsibility for the attacks, but near daily attacks in Baghdad are often claimed by ISIS.

27 year-old Lakisha Connors of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, was arrested on Thursday, November 5th, under charges of child endangerment.

Connors's neighbors called local law enforcement after witnessing the children digging through garbage in the side yard.




#3 A Home in Disarray

When authorities arrived at the scene, Connors was passed out on the couch. The officers were let into the home by three-year-old Amonte and five-year-old Dante.

Despite the chaos of the home, the police found that "there was a lock on the refrigerator and all nonperishable foods were locked in a huge wooden makeshift storage container in the mother’s bedroom.”




#5 "There was only enough food for me!"

Officers reported that when confronted, “Lakisha plainly said, without any remorse, ‘There was only enough food for me! Them kids get on my nerves.'"




#6 A Step Further

As if this weren't enough grounds for apprehension, Latisha continued to justify her actions to officers on scene: "But [the children] eat, they eat my scraps. I’m a big girl I need more than them!'”




#7 Under Arrest

Connors is currently being held on a $500 bond, and all seven children have been taken into protective custody. At least she is somewhere with strict food rationing!
