Plane was attempting takeoff when passengers reported feeling a sudden halt and the plane staying on the ground as they began to smell smoke. The pilot first told them to stay seated, but that soon turned to 'evacuate.' Passengers reported a lot of panic as smoke filled the plane when the door was open to deploy the slide.
